Using the IP Multimedia System (IMS) architecture, Communications Service Providers (CSPs) can offer session-based services. Any Internet Protocol/Session Internet Protocol (IP/SIP) device can establish a session with the control serversí Call Session Control Function (CSCF) and then establish connections with other IP/ SIP devices to deliver voice, video, and data sessions between the two end-clients.
